Pomo’s Pa, Ronan, is Grandpa to these pups and is waiting for his chance to play with the pups. Sorry, Ronan, it will still be a few weeks yet.
Blaze loves to sleep right up next to mom. At this point she is the only pup to have a litter name. She has the largest blaze on her head, and is also “blazing around” crawling all over the box, mom, and the other pups, so we thought it was appropriate. 🙂
Puppy Pile. This upside down pup was covered with a couple other pups soon after.
After a few days, the pups are starting to navigate the box a little bit better so we’ve added large toys to the box as obstacles for them to navigate around.
The toys also make for good pillows.
By the end of the first week, the pups have grown quite a bit! They doubled their birth weight to 2 lbs.
