Argh… sigh

Our nighttime walks through the neighborhood are always particularly nice this time of year because of the holiday decorations.   The decorations seem to get more elaborate every year!   This is the puppies’ first Christmas, so it’s another socialization opportunity.    Tonight we walked by a giant inflatable toy soldier.  I thought it was kind of cool so took Ronan over to see it.  He was startled by it the first time we walked by, and barked at it.   We walked around the block and came back to it, and this time he was much more comfortable, approaching it to investigate.   As he was sniffing it, the timer turned off and the soldier quickly deflated, falling toward Ronan, who was NOT happy about this at all!!   Rotten luck.  Guess I know what we’ll be doing tomorrow evening.
