Day 10

Wow, we had a real dearth of decent pictures to post.   At this age everything is either a puppy pile or sleeping/nursing.   That said, things are getting more interesting because we had eyes opening more than a crack today, and for a minute, all the pups suddenly got up and started wobble-walking around the box (not very well, but still an impressive effort).    It was very surprising.  One got up and wobbled around, then one by one the others started doing it, almost as if they had coordinated the whole thing.

Here are a couple photos showing what they look like now.    The pups now weigh around 3 lbs, so if anyone had thoughts of bringing home an 8-10 lb puppy at 8 weeks you can forget about that right now.  Think 18 lbs, so please start working out because the puppies would love to be carried at times.  🙂
