Day 20 – “curiouser and curiouser”
The puppies are mostly active after feeding time, of which they get many. They have sharp little puppy teeth now! We are introducing them to different textured toys in the box, and they individually got “field trips” right outside the whelping box so they could test their legs in a different area. Both girls and Blue boy are little explorers at this point, where the others are not quite ready for that yet, preferring to stay close.
The puppies have met Auntie Lola! Lola is thrilled to finally get to see the puppies. She is very gentle and curious about them (and they about her).
The next set of pictures were taken in low light, so I’m not going to post them in a larger size. Still, it gives you an idea what the pups look like at this point. They are very sweet, and very curious, when they are awake!
We are just beside ourselves looking at these pix! What incredible sweeties! Can’t wait to see them in person!
