Day 25

An update to yesterday’s runway incident-  today Pink girl navigated down the entire ramp successfully on her own!   We are very proud.  🙂

Some picture updates are below.

Remember the last photo of Sport nursing the babies?  They are even bigger now, and she perhaps a little more haggard, especially now that she’s dealing with their  very sharp teeth!  Not only that, but the combined weight of the puppies is now 39 lbs, more than two-thirds of her current skinny-nursing-mom weight.

Sport decided to get away for a bit:

The puppies tried Auntie Lola, who would have liked to oblige if she could.

Lastly, a beautiful sleeping puppy.

The puppies have been busy!  They have been playing in their cat tunnel, in a cardboard box “tube”, going up and down the ramp (most of them still try to get off halfway), and starting to potty train to a litter box.  Our house smells like aspen because that’s what the litter material is made of.
