No new photos? An update

OMG!  Look what happens after doing a video!  No new pictures for almost a week?!  Sorry all- things have been busy here, with puppies and work!   We actually do have photos to post from the last few days but it has been on the back-burner so hopefully I will get them posted tomorrow.

The puppies are doing great.  Besides the tunnel, they have been playing on their red Clifford slide and having great fun with it.   They spend part of their day in the big patio pen where they play on the teeter, wobble board, and nap on the Kuranda bed.   Then the afternoon is spent in the big grassy pen with the tunnel, slide, lots of toys, and some water activity.   Indoors they have a couple different areas as well- the puppy pen with lots of room to play, and the kitchen/family room pen where they get to be part of the “action” of daily home life, and where they are fed their meals.

Speaking of meals, the puppies are eating about 10 oz of solid food per day right now, in addition to their mom’s milk which comes less frequently.   Most of their meals are in the form of ground meat added to the Honest Kitchen Preference base mix.  They are loving that, and I quite like the Preference product as well.   I’ve been rotating between different kinds of meat in each meal so the puppies get exposure to different types of protein.  So far they have gotten ground turkey, ground beef, ground lamb.  I’ve been mixing 2 parts of meat to 1 part of rehydrated Preference.   I mix a raw egg into some of their meals (split among multiple pups) and occasionally some goat milk yogurt.  They are getting salmon oil daily.   The puppies are thriving on their diet, and the resulting poops are normal and infrequent.
